This 8 week Clay Basics class takes place from 2pm-5pm. This Thursday afternoon class starts on January 8th and ends on February 26th. Students will learn both hand building and wheel throwing techniques. This class is perfect for beginners, in addition to people who wish to continue their clay journey.
One 25lb bag of clay, glazes, and firing fees are all included with tuition. You can purchase additional bags of clay for $40 each. You have a choice of Laugna Brown Clay or Kentucky Mudworks Roo. Students can practice their skills during Open Studio on Saturday or Sunday (per intern availability) from 9am-12pm.
The studio is up one flight of stairs, so unfortunately this is not a wheel-chair accessible class. We can direct you to other clay studios in the area that are wheel-chair accessible if you send us an email!
