Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I take a pottery class even though I have no experience?

Yes! You can totally take a class with us with no experience. Our small class size (6 students) makes our studio perfect for beginners.

Q: What can I make in a 2 hour private lesson?

Emily will teach you how to throw on the wheel OR hand-build a project! You can make 2 small items on the wheel (think spoon rest, or snack bowl) OR make a serving platter/berry bowl when hand-building!

Q: Can I take home my pottery pieces the same day I make them?

No, all of our clay must be fired twice! This means your finished work will be done 4-8 weeks after taking the class.

Q: Who can become a member?

People with experience are encouraged to apply to be members! Usually students take 2-5  eight-week classes before applying to be members.
